Day 1
Guest need to report at 8.00 am at Vivada Jetty, Millennium park, Kolkata – 01.
Transfer by AC Coach from Vivada Jetty, Kolkata to Gadkhali Jetty, Sunderbans whould take 3 hrs of drive through beautiful countryside’s and rural bazaar.

Embark the Cruiser – M.V. Paramhamsa anchored at Sunderban. The Embarkartion point is at Gadkhali, which is 110km from Kolkata. Safety and tour briefing.  After lunch, visit to a typical Sunderban village for an interaction with the village, to experience their life style. Guests will experience farming, paddy husking, honey packing, fishing and various occupations of the region. In the evening you will enjoy a rich mythological folk drama by the local artists followed by a traditional Bengali meal, overnight on board Vivada cruise.

Day 2
Early this morning at 5.30 AM you may enjoy a spectacular sunrise, while the cruiser sails towards the east. This day the guests will experience the rich Biodiversity of the Sunderban Tiger reserve. Visits to watch towers and cruising through the small creeks  along the mangrove forests for wildlife sighting, birding through the dense mangrove forest. Being a swamp forest, forest visits are only through boats only. Evening, there will be talk show on sunderbans along with wild life films.

Day 3
This morning, walk through the mangroves and visit the crocodile project on Bhagabatpur island which is a hatchery and sanctuary to the biggest estuarine crocodiles in the world.  A good birding opportunity for wide range of migratory and local birds of this region. Next the guests will visit the Fisherman’s Cove at Namkhana. The busy fishing harbour will give an insight to the lifestyle of the fishermen. The guests can buy fresh fish and other sea foods to be cooked in the live kitchen counters. Later in the evening depending on the tide, vessel sails to Kolkata passing through Haldia, Diamond Harbour, Raichak etc

Day 4
Arrival at Kolkata by Morning. Kolkata city tour. Know the oldest city of the east and once the capital of British East India Company.

Day 5
The Europe on Ganges : There are 5 European reminiscence within 40 km north of Kolkata and were trading post. The vessel will drop anchor at Bandel – meaning the Port in Bengali, the place appears to the port during the time of Portuguese.

Chandannagore -the French colony from 1673 to 1952, except between 1757 to 1794 when it was under the British.  Depending upon the tide the cruiser sails past the Howrah Bridge late evening or early morning next day.

Day 6
The vessel will drop anchor at Kalna, Maharajas of Bardhaman built  several magnificent temples with intricate terracotta ornamentation, the main one being 108 Shiv Mandir built in 1809 in traditional AAT chala architecture and the Raj bari which house most of the temples.  Shantipur – the weavers of fine Bengal cotton, the village rich in handloom weaving, is the second largest occupation in the state of West Bengal. The weavers here blend the traditional art with the modern life style needs, offering rich variety of textiles, sarees, stoles, fabrics etc.

Day 7
The vessel will drop anchor at Mayapur & Matiari. Mayapur is Headquaters of ISKCON. Preaching  the power of prayer to attain salvation.

At Matiari, visit Kansha workshops, ( Bell metal wares) was a poor man substitute to the rich silverware used in Bengali homes for prayers, table wares and also for cooking. The traditional Kansari artisans make from scrap metals handcrafted wares and art facts.

Day 8
The vessel will drop anchor at Murshidabad, the historic town, the earliest evidences of history perhaps as early as circa 1500 B.C.  The Nawab Murshid Quli Khan made Murshidabad the capital city of Sube Bangla, comprising of Bengal, Bihar and Orissa. The East India Company reigned from here for many years after the Battle of Plassey.

Day 9
Reach Azimganj in the morning.
Breakfast at 7.30 am
After breakfast the vessel will drop anchor at Jiaganj and Azimganj is a twin town and a municipality in Murshidabad district in the Indian state of West Bengal.

There are several historic Jain temples in the city including Sri Neminath Swami, Chintamani Parasnath,  Shantinath,Gaudi Parshwanath, Padmaprabhu, and Sanwalia Parasnath (Rambagh) temples and a dadabadi at Rambagh.

Day 10
After breakfast check out and transfer Azimgunj railway station  by surface tuktuk ( 15 mins). Then transfer to Kolkata ( HWH Station ) by  13466/Malda Town – Howrah Intercity Express
Reach HWH and transfer to Kolkata Hotel.
